THE VILLAGE
The village of Ayia Anna is situated to the west of Larnaca. The town centre of Larnaca, beaches and the international airport are all reachable within 20 minutes by car or local Bus.
Ayia Anna is rich in geomorphologic features. Special coloured and structured slabs of rock are found in the area of the surrounding hills and are uniquely used for centuries to construct our traditional stone houses.
Nature lovers can also enjoy the hills surrounding the village with easily accessible walkways leading to panoramic views of the sea, Larnaca town and countryside.
The village grocery store is well stocked & competitively priced compared to the supermarkets in town. The village taverna serves traditional Cypriot Meze accompanied by live music (weekends). A small cultural centre displays traditional architecture and an old stone church, dating back to 1882, catches the visitor’s eye.
Ayia Anna is centrally located for easy access to the vibrant capital of Nicosia, the coastal town of Limassol, many interesting archaeological sites and the mountains of Troodos. Within 5-10 minutes driving distance you will discover traditional restaurants where you can enjoy the local cuisine.
LARNACA
The beautiful beach front promenade with its cafes, restaurants and bars together with the yacht harbour represents without a doubt the main tourist attraction. Every evening the easy going Larnaca lifestyle is on display and you can relax in a family atmosphere and watch the world go by.
Larnaca and the surrounding area are packed with archaeological sites. Larnaca is proud of its amphitheatre where performances are held, ranging from modern music to opera. In the town theatre you can enjoy on a regular basis performances given by international and Cypriot artists.
